Wow! That was fast!

Thank-you so much for your great kindness - I sincerely appreciate it.

I had a rather awkward looking and sounding version here to upload. A pity I cannot; the film is a fun little number.

Thank-you again for your generosity!

Moose,
I suggest you do your own quick search of the records referenced in the postings about the film you want to upload. Optical Character Reading software used on documents sometimes cause errors to be made with numbers and letters.
And as I often say, if a copyrighted film is inadvertently posted here, the staff will quickly remove it.
But don't try to post this months poorly crafted, CGI enhanced, lousy movie and think it will stay up.

I have attached are the original page scans from the Copyright Entries books. It looks like the registration and renewal cited apply to the same film and, as such, the film was timely renewed.

If the original poster is looking for copies of the copyright records volumes, they can be found in the below IA collection:

As it states on the Archive page.

"This ongoing project presents records of copyright ownership from the United States Copyright Office for the period from July 1891 through December 1977."

This information does not necessarily apply to present day copyright.

The books apply to present day copyright in the sense that they document the original registrations and renewals of copyright during the period they cover. That information is not available in the USCO's online database.

On a basic level, these books provide a user with knowledge of whether a film was registered and/or renewed for copyright. This is fundamental to determining whether a US film published between 1923 and 1963 remains under copyright.

It should be noted that the current ownership of a copyright work is almost entirely irrelevant to determining the work's actual copyright status. There is no legal requirement on copyright proprietors to record transfers of interest or ownership to maintain their protection.
